The School
ITC “G. P. Chironi” is an italian technical high school for aviation students. Students (aged 14-19) attend a 5-year secondary level studying one of the two programs that our school provides:
- Air traffic control and aircraft navigation
- Aircraft design and maintenance
Passionate and motivated students study topics such as air navigation, air law, flight mechanics, aerodynamics, aviation weather, aircraft systems and propulsion, aviation materials and aircraft structures and have the possibility to participate in valuable internship programs.
Our laboratories, equipped with advanced training devices such as flight simulator, wind tunnel, two-stage turbine, provide students with realistic learning experiences making lessons more interesting and engaging.
Aviation students approach challenges with forethought and determination working
independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies to guarantee safety in the skies.
The staff
Prof. Giuliano Deledda
Professor Giuliano Deledda is Professor of Aircraft Structures and Flight Mechanics at the ITC “G. P. Chironi” Department of Aeronautics and Mechanics. His primary research interests are in low subsonic aerodynamics, design and performance of aircraft, computational aerodynamics and UAV design.
He is In charge as Chief of Aviation Department and as School Technology Coordinator.
